We mentioned on the home page that with interior painting the biggest danger is trying to treat every single surface in the same manner. We can apply different types of paint to equally different walls. At the same time, the type of painting technique that we’re ultimately going to be using can certainly vary depending on where we’re painting. You can be sure though, that we’ll be able to help you with virtually any type of interior painting project. What do you have in mind? Our goal is to find a way to fulfill the ideas that you happen to have.
Picking Paint For Each Wall
We are not just talking about different colors here, but of course, that type of decision is also part of the conversation. If you have drywall mixed with stucco and other types of walls we need to make sure that we’re using the right type of paint on the right wall. As we mentioned before, many of the botched painting attempts that people experience fail in something as simple as this. The main reason this happens is that they’ll just go out and buy a bunch of the same paint. That’s not always an effective way to get the job done.
Prepping The Area Accordingly
Obviously, when we’re painting indoors or even outdoors our main goal is to provide a finish that the people who hired us can be proud of. In many ways, it really is that simple. However, another thing that is important to us is to ensure that we only get paint on the specific areas that you want us to paint. We don’t want to get paint on carpets or rugs. Therefore, we’re going to make an extra effort to cover all of these areas up accordingly and even remove certain furniture sets before we start.
How Often Should I Repaint My Interiors?
Naturally interior paint jobs are able to last much longer without going dull when compared to exterior paint jobs. After 4 or 5 years though you could start seeing signs of aging. With simple drywall, the time frame can expand a little bit more. If we’re talking about stucco walls then they really do start showing more signs of wear and tear quicker. At the end of the day, there is really no set time frame that you really should be following. In many ways, we would say that it’s much more of a feel issue.
Unique Color Schemes & Paint Designs
A lot of times when you do these types of projects on your own you may be limited by the specific colors that you’ll be able to find at a store. At the same time, many people opt to just use one color on the whole wall to make sure they don’t over complicate themselves. These are not issues that you’ll have to consider if you work with us. Throw all of the ideas that you have our way and we’ll be able to make them come to life.
